3 Secrets to Living a More Creative Life
Feeling uninspired or overwhelmed by the day to day. Here are 3 habits for living a more creative life.
1) Morning Pages: Spend 20-30 minutes every morning journaling your thoughts. Most of us wake up with a million things on our mind. All those worries can often block our creativity and cause stress. By writing out a stream of conciseness, you will feel free of burdons and start to better connect with self. You will start to feel more in control of your life and have space for creativity. I challenge you to try this for 30 days and take note of the positive changes which occur with this new habit.
2) Artist Dates: Schedule time for you to give attention to your inner artist; ideally in 1-2 hour time blocks. By scheduling time to awaken your inner artist, you will bring JOY, CONFIDENCE and HARMONY into your life. Schedule your Artist Dates weekly for maximum results.
Examples of Artist Dates:
-Revive an creative hobby you loved in your youth
-Take a creative class
-Watch a live performance
-Visit a local gallery or museum
-Go mural hunting in your town/city
3) Learn a New Artform or Technique: Sometimes we need inspiration by learning something new. You never know what you are capable of until you try. I didnβt learn to macrame until the Fall of 2019 and now itβs one of my favorite art forms. I love it so much that I began instructing macrame workshops.
